During this special season of preparation, I am going to try really hard to reflect what I believe about Advent and Christmas in how I behave, what I say and the way in which I use my talents.
So, yesterday evening (Advent Sunday) I went to Illumine at Wakefield Cathedral and walked around the Labyrinth, reflecting on this prayer:
God of Abraham and Sarah,
You gave them faith to listen when you spoke,
and strength to go where you sent them.
Help us to make room in our lives to hear your loving call
and be ready to respond.
Amen.
